Let’s Bowl! Monday, March 2nd
Come join your preschool friends for a fun bowling play date at Star Lanes Polaris, 8655 Lyra Dr, Columbus, OH 43240. The cost is $2 per person for shoe rental (must wear socks) and $2 per game, 11a-2p. Lanes are first come, first serve, so plan on meeting at 11 am and we can share a lane – or make plans to meet your friend there! No sign up required!

Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb 24-25 is our “Dough for Dollars.” Make a purchase from any Central Ohio Papa John’s (or order online!), turn in your receipt on the flyer and get 20% for our school! Anyone can participate –tell your friends, neighbors, grandparents, co-workers
We will do this the 4th Tuesday/Wednesday each month. Plan on a pizza night : )

The Worthington Education Association cordially invites you to a kick-off celebration for the NEA’s Read Across America week. The night will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday and promote early literacy with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and their Reach Out and Read book drive and Worthington Head Start Preschool on Friday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the Worthington Community Center. Special guests include Worthington Public Libraries, Silly Dee Balloons, WKHS Men’s Lacrosse “Man Up” Program, costume characters and The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! Please join us as we encourage families to participate in an evening of athletics, the arts and literacy!
Please feel free to bring your family and friends and donate a NEW preschool book/person to swim for FREE to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Worthington Head Start Preschool or swim at a rate of $8/adult and $5/child.
Worthington City Schools invites you to share thoughts about the programs and initiatives that mean the most to you and your family. There are two meeting opportunities, Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 11. Both meetings will begin at 7 p.m. at the Worthington Education Center, 200 E. Wilson Bridge Rd. Visit in-store for more crafty fun: FREE “From the heart coupons” at Lakeshore Learning or Michael’s Kids Club (usually $2 or more) Check your nearest location online to sign up for class. There will be cookie decorating with pre-baked shaped cookies, icing and sprinkles. Three crafts will be available in the library( a paper mitten to decorate, a beaded candy cane ornament, and a snowy picture frame foam craft), while supplies last.
There will be games and prizes in room 128 and the back hallway: a Mitten Matching game, Pin the Nose on the Snowman, and Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Toss.
Our Catalog Fundraiser sales will also be available for pick up in Room 128, 10:30a-2:30p; 5:30-7:30 p.m.. Pick up your order so your small student might not have to wrestle with that big box!
Tools for your parenting toolbox : Surviving the Holidays How to have a great holiday with your child, fight the “gimmes,” deal with the tantrums, and have a more enjoyable visit with friends and family! Dr. Y will give you the strategies you need to have a more peaceful winter break and stress less! Interactive presentation will be followed by an open question/answer session.

There will be a Lil’ Kickers class, followed by playtime on the inflatables!

At the 9/10/14 meeting, proposed changes to Sutter Park PTA’s bylaws were submitted. Changes will voted on at the next meeting (10/8/14). Please read over and submit suggestions to Jane Witherspoon, email@example.com
Changes include adding PTA Council Rep and Past President positions to officers and board, and changing meeting times to accommodate flexible scheduling each year.
