Fundraising

Sutter Park PTA typically hosts three primary fundraisers per school year:  Our Charleston Wrap fundraiser is held in the fall, in time for holiday shopping.  Our Online Auction is held in the winter, and our Flower Fundraiser is held in the spring.

These three fundraisers, along with our shopping and corporate incentive programs provide for most annual needs in our budget.

Annual expenses include appreciation activities for our wonderful school staff and bus drivers, classroom needs, our First Tastings program, babysitting for PTA and school programs, and annual spring programming including an “Artist in Schools” performance.

In recent years we have purchased 16 cube chairs (2015), caterpillar climber and airplane teeter totter for the Motor Room (2016), trampolines for the Motor Room and books for each classroom (2017).

Sutter Park PTA has a special Fundraising Committee to raise funds for an All-Inclusive Playground.  Plans are just underway!  We will need lots of parent and community support to fund this project for our students — to get involved, please contact Sarah Lim at vp1@sutterparkpta.org.
